OVERVIEW
Dedication to "Growth through Innovation" is at the core of IN2TEC's success as an
interface solution provider. Innovation is not just a buzz word at IN2TEC, it is a way
of life for all its employees. With significant investment plans, dedicated resources
and a relentless focus, the IN2TEC team provides custom solutions to successfully
solve your interface challenges. IN2TEC's goal is to provide solutions which go
beyond cost effectiveness to establish a real competitive advantage for our
customers' products. |

|
IN2TEC has built a broad portfolio of interface technologies in the belief that a supplier who is
biased by a certain technology will lack a broad-based expertise and is unlikely to be
open-minded enough to supply a customer with the "best" solution on a regular basis. This product
portfolio and the continuous development in a team-based environment give IN2TEC the
competitive edge when it comes to adding more to a customer's business than merely a supply
relationship. IN2TEC provides a partnership for the future. |
HISTORY
IN2TEC was formed in 2001 by a management buyout of the C&K Switches division from
ITT/Cannon. C&K Switches had been in operation since the late 1970's and had been a
leader in the membrane switch and interface panel business in both North America and
Europe since the mid-1980's. With a strong background in mechanical switch principles and
electrical contact theory, this group brought a unique perspective and much needed stability to
the fledgling membrane switch field of the 1980's. |

|
From this important skill base, IN2TEC has blossomed as a full-line interface solution provider with valued customers and
carefully planned resources around the globe.
As the IN2TEC sign was being installed over the Kettering, UK headquarters in 2001, plans were already underway to
employ state-of-the-art production and Lean Organization techniques. The first step towards this was the introduction of
the IN2TEC Production System (I.P.S.).
I.P.S. is based upon the Toyota Production System, which has been adopted as the de-facto standard for the automotive
industry and its supplier base. The Toyota System is considered to be a model for achieving effective implementation of the
following principles:
- Efficiency
- Cost consciousness
- Valuing people & developing their talents
- Work site oriented thinking
- Problem solving
- Team work
This innovative approach, discussed in greater detail in the IPS section, has created a Best-In-Class interface
manufacturing operation which has been the focus of numerous plant tours, industry visits and university study groups.
More importantly the obvious benefits of this Lean Organization have generated an enthusiasm across the company which,
in turn, has fostered teamwork, efficiency and a spirit of continuous improvement that has increased the value of the
solutions that IN2TEC provides to its customers.

|
IN2TEC's focus on customer satisfaction is demonstrated in the recent upgrading of the
Quality System in its Kettering, UK facility to ISO 9001:2000. Very few of IN2TEC's
competitors have been able to so quickly embrace the newest release of ISO 9001. |
FUTURE
IN2TEC has been able to grow considerably despite the challenging market conditions which
marked its first two years since taking over the C&K Switches operation. IN2TEC's future
plans are to build upon its initial success by pursuing its strategy of coupling an unmatched
expertise in a broad array of innovative interface technologies with unsurpassed customer
support. IN2TEC Ltd in the U.K. and IN2TEC Inc. in the U.S. are the two main hubs for
customer support supplemented by local support groups across all of Europe and North
America (click here for more detail).
IN2TEC is a global supplier of interface solutions which currently manufactures its products in
UK, Taiwan and China but is actively pursuing additional partnership and acquisition
opportunities with special interest in North America, Europe and developing areas in Asia.
