Case Study
AEROSPACE ALLUMINIUM TOUCH SENSE SEAT CONTROL UNIT
Project
A French Aerospace seating system manufacturer, a world leader in their field, required a new and innovative approach to their units interface panel. The new design had to be more effective, better quality and importantly for the client it had to be modern looking and fit within the ergonomics and aesthetics of the surrounds.
Solution
In2tec utilised its experience and innovation engine within the membrane switching market to provide a fairly unique solution to the customers requirements. In2tec has combined and extremely unique substrate material and printing process to produce a polymer that to all intense and purpose replicates brushed metal (aluminium in this case but it could have been many other materials). The design team then integrated this with a self calibrating capacitive sense switching system producing the "World's first" metal touch sense seating switch.
The combination of design and innovative thinking is a fundamental advantage In2tec have over its competition. It's the "out of the box" viewpoint that provides new and exciting ideas to our customers.
