NCR ATM (BANKING) ILLUMINATION MODULE

NCR, A world leader in Banking solutions and the worlds largest ATM manufacturing company needed a fresh approach to cost reduction on their latest ATM machine products. In2tec had been a strategic partner to NCR for many years and has never failed to come up with an innovative solution to give them an edge over their competition. In this case In2tec provided a phased solution that gave progressive cost down with a control on quality and application.
Solution
In2tec utilised its experience and its strong innovation engine within the interface control market to provide a fairly unique solution to the customers requirements . In2tec looked at the existing solutions and dissected the customer requirements and the functional needs of the atm card illumination systems. The design team looked "outside of the box" and provided a solution that integrated light guides and led light clusters using elastomer material and eventually Iflex™ flexible circuit substrates reducing the number of parts. More significantly reducing the time to manufacture at the NCR facility and providing a part that has significantly increased the reliability and life span of that part of the ATM unit.
