The IN2TEC Production System (I.P.S.) is a critical element of IN2TEC's   Lean Organization philosophy. I.P.S. is based upon the Toyota Production   System, which has been adopted as the de-facto standard for the automotive   industry and its supplier base. Although not all aspects of Toyota's system have   been incorporated into the IN2TEC Production System, listed below are the key   characteristics of a Lean Manufacturing operation. Efficiency Cost Consciousness Valuing people & developing their talents Work site oriented thinking Problem solving Team work   While these are the key characteristics of a Lean Manufacturing operation, the goal   at IN2TEC has been implement this methodology across the all aspects of the   business, not just Manufacturing.   IN2TEC has incorporated these key characteristics into I.P.S., and these in turn   have helped the organisation to: Eliminate waste Reduce costs Reduce lead times ( produce to order ) Develop better manufacturing techniques

  One of the words that is always associated with Lean Manufacturing is Kaizen (continuous improvement). The work force   at IN2TEC have taken these new methodologies and made them a success by breaking out of routine and traditional   thinking patterns typically demonstrated by competitors.

  This is just the first step in continuous improvement, and every day we see further small steps taking place.
