Our People

Neil Armstrong - Group Managing Director

Neil co-founded the In2tec Group in 2001 following a management buy-out from C&K Components, where he was Managing Director.

After completing a degree in electronic engineering at Leeds University, he worked for many years in the automotive industry, including several years at Jaguar Cars. Having worked as Product Design Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor and Project Manager, he has a wealth of experience and brings a unique perspective to your projects.

His love of motorsports, collection of motorbikes and passion for classic cars means that he is known within In2tec as a massive petrolhead. Golf, cricket, and football are among his interests, and he takes the opportunity to join in any competitive sport, as he loves to win.

Emma Armstrong - Sustainable Electronics Ambassador

Emma is fiercely dedicated to shifting the paradigms within the electronics industry, to ensure manufacturers adopt circular and sustainable processes.

She drives the strategy for technology and leads the sales, customer service, and marketing teams, ensuring everyone at In2tec exceeds customer expectations and keeps innovation at the heart of their endeavours.

Emma joined In2tec in 2009. Prior to that, she worked with a variety of companies – from multinationals to SMEs – in the IT, electrical, and bespoke services industries.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends. A dedicated Leicester City fan, watching football and cricket keeps Emma entertained. Her passion for motorbikes and MotoGP means you can forget about making Sunday plans with her during race season.

Robert Harris - Group Finance and Operations Director

Rob joined In2tec in early 2019 to lead our group operations and ensures our customers receive their high-quality products on time. He also oversees group finance with the able help of Simone Long, our Finance Manager.

Rob is a highly qualified accountant having started his career within the restructuring division at Deloitte, where he worked with many SMEs on a wide variety of restructuring projects. After 6 years at Deloitte, he joined Jaguar Land Rover, working within their purchasing function before joining In2tec.

Another extremely competitive personality within the In2tec team, Rob is a keen cricketer and loves to take part in (and win) many competitive sports.

Mark Hudman – Chief Technology Officer

Mark joined In2tec in March 2020 and has a passion for innovative and progressive engineering and design. He brings a wealth of experience from his 30 years of working in Sensors, HMIs, Control Systems and machine tools; in companies both large and small.

With a degree in electronic engineering followed by a PhD in automation and control systems, he quickly worked his way from software and electronic engineering to leading teams of multidisciplined engineers delivering technologically advanced solutions. He achieved his first Technical Director role in 2000 at Newall Measurement Systems, which became part of Schneider Electric Group.

Subsequently joining the India-based Electronica as Business Development Director in 2008, he has a broad experience of culture and corporate knowledge beyond engineering, enabling stronger supplier and customer relationships through an appreciation of commercial business expectations and requirements.
