In2tec has been developing transparent and semi-transparent heater systems for vehicles for the last ten years. Our material and process capabilities mean that we can provide transparent solutions with high optical clarity and near-zero haze and form surface heater solutions in 3D profiles to follow the contours of lens heaters, sensor covers, or HMI panels and controls.
CNB ™ technologies allow for high transparency that can increase a lens surface temperature by 10°C in less than 6-seconds even when applied to formed 3D shapes. This is critical for combatting diverse weather conditions and environmental effects that can block lights and cover sensors, adversely affecting ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), critical safety and camera sensors that alert the driver to potential safety problems around them.
We achieve complex transparent designs across a range of heating requirements using CNT films and inks. In many applications, we use conductive printed silver wires that provide warm-to-touch surfaces in areas not requiring full-optical clarity or where a lower cost is a requirement.
